Born in Yixing, the capital of pottery, he has been deeply influenced by purple clay pottery since childhood. He is the third-generation descendant of the flowerware master Zhu Kexin. In 1979, he studied the design and production of purple clay pottery from his uncle, the researcher-level senior arts and crafts master and Jiangsu Province arts and crafts master Fan Hongquan. In this ancient land full of ceramic culture, he studied hard and made a solid foundation. He is fully familiar with the purple sand production process. He has been engaged in art for more than 30 years and has always insisted on all-handmade production. His works are collected by purple sand lovers from all walks of life due to their innovative technology and unique shape. During this period, he was taught skills by many masters such as Gu Shaopei and Fan Yongliang. His works are honest and majestic; the flower products are smart and elegant. He has participated in international and domestic exhibitions for many times and won many awards. He is well received by collectors in Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan. His artistic achievements have been included in authoritative books and newspapers such as "Famous Chinese Ceramics Artists" and "Art Collection" for many times. In 2000, he entered "Zuitaoju" to study with Chinese arts and crafts master Lv Yaochen, which made his skills more mature and gradually formed his own unique style.
